What Will Mountain Lion Offer ME

As per the title. My mac is in my sig, a 2010 Core i7 dual core, has 8GB RAM and a Samsung SSD on the way when it's in stock.

So what will I be able to use from the new features? I have an iPhone, I use iCloud a bit but only with the standard free option, I use Googlemail, do not use Facebook or Twitter, and I use Outlook and Office 2011.
I play Starcraft 2 and may get Diablo 3 one day, otherwise I use Steam on my Mac so have little use for Game Centre.

So will I gain anything from the update? Will it be faster and more stable for me at all? Have their been any report of it reducing battery life at all?

I currently run Lion.

His response wasn't arrogant or rude. The new features are described on Apple's site. They've been discussed on this forum in numerous threads with people offering opinions on whether the features were useful to them personally. There are threads about battery life, speed, etc.

Do the research yourself, consider your requirements and decided whether ML offers you $20 worth of value.

Why would you expect someone to do that for you?

I thought I would ask for some help, but obviously I won't get it in this forum, sorry for thinking I would get some.
I'll just search through the posts from today then as they are the only ones that count, I wonder how many address my particular concerns? Not all I should imagine.

I have a late 2010 13" MBP. The only thing that really interested me in ML was the notification center. But seeing as how the few programs that do support it have to be OPEN (Why would I even need notifications then?) to use it, I don't even use it now. Other than that, if you're on Lion that is, it really isn't very different. Aside from A few UI changes, Gatekeeper (OSX's version of UAC on Windows...annoying as hell), and more iOSification, I say keep your $20 and just watch for the updates to 10.8, maybe they'll add something that will interest you in the future.

I myself am about to downgrade to Snow Leopard. I miss my Diablo II.

Try my "non-troll report" on ML, where there is a good discussion of innovation and features. You may search it within this section.

If Lion ran/runs fine on your Mac, then ML should run fine too. I can't use the terms "faster" and "smoother" because a speed boost of a third of a second isn't something I really consider noticeable or better. I just think ML is a bloated version of Lion. But that's just my opinion.

I think after reading your reply again I was harsh in my reply so I apologise, I do not think you meant it as sarcastic and am sorry if you meant your reply in the most good of nature.

Sod it, reading the posts from people saying they fell their older machines are now running faster I've brought it.
It's a bit easier for me as I have a fresh Lion install disk for when my SSD turns up, so I have that plus the original Snow Leopard disks in case anything goes wrong I'll make a Mountain Lion install disk and do a fresh install on my SSD then.

I'm interested to see if Safari has been fixed, or if it still crashes, leaks memory, can't handle flash.
