What will you do when your iPad come across this?
when we are on our journey or our biz trip, sometimes our iPad will come across low battery. If there is no elec to supply, what will you do? would you rather to bring another battery with you?

I take a "Just Mobile Gum Pro" (4400mah) to charge it. Works great! I used this past week in the airport and on the plane while traveling.

Nope, I would want to put it away and interact with the real people around me. If it is just the wife and I, I like to pull over and smash it. There is more to life than the ipad. If you would rather not interact, they make power inverters. (I have one in my car.)

You could also get a solar charger and inverter if you have space to carry them.

Guess it depends on the trip.

thats pretty old school...

Depends on the model. Can't really call the iPhone 4 "old school" quite yet...

I have a car charger, but I also have NewTrent's IMP500 external battery pack, good for about 50% of the iPad's capacity. On top of a normal charge, that's more than enough to get me wherever I'm going.

when you say extra battery, i assume you mean something like the hypermac? I wonder why, but i like the hypermac batteries. i would like to have one, but cannot justify the price. so i guess it would depend on how important it is to you to have that backup power option.

I always like to have a backup external battery handy for my iDevices. All too often, when I am about to head out the door with my iPhone or iPad, I realize that I forgot to charge it up.

I have had a nice Macally battery for my iPhone for a few years. It's good for a couple of full charges. I recently got a NewTrent battery for my iPad which is good for just about one full charge.

The battery life of he iPad is pretty great, but having the extra battery gives me peace of mind when I am starting a long plane flight.

No, I do not wish that the iPad had a removable battery like some crap netbook, if that's what you are really asking.

Besides, what kind of "biz trip" are you on where you can't find an electrical outlet at night to charge your iPad after using it for 10 full hours during the day? Are you sleeping outside in a tent at night? :)

It was really painful reading this.

Lets hear it for anti-tech moralizing in a tech forum. :)

What do you mean by another battery? The battery isn't user replaceable on ipad. If you are talking about if I am going to buy extended battery for it, then no. Ipad battery is around 10 hours or more. I will carry car charger. But that's it.

"Business" trip with no access to power? LOL

What are you, growing stuff in the forest? FYI they make solar chargers, car power adapters, etc.

I don't think the OP's first language is English, so maybe some of you should lay off making fun of him. He's using our language probably because he figures we don't know his.

"our journey or our biz trip" doesn't mean biz trip alone. Sheesh, you native English speakers aren't reading so carefully yourselves. "Or" is a perfectly good English conjunction and he's using it correctly.
