I have an eMac G4. Nothing special but I love it. I have an original Airport base station. Unfortunately my old Airport Cards will not work in my mac, it has to have the Airport Extreme card. I have to have wireless, I used my DSL connection for my X-Box 360 and my eMac. What would be the cheapest card I could get that would work for my eMac? I don't "have" to have an Apple card. What are some of my options?

Though you don't *have* to get an Apple card, I would still recommend getting one. The other option are USB wireless adapters which rely on drivers - drivers which either don't exist for OS X, or are pretty crappy.

Airport Extreme cards aren't THAT expensive and will give you the best reception for your eMac (since the antenna is built around the screen), and will work trouble free and support all the latest security methods (WPA/WPA2), so thats what I would recommend.

Seconded. Look at the Apple refurb store, they usually have a few APE cards for $69.
