What would cause my yahoo mail to push so slow?

Hello maybe its me but sometimes it seems as though my yahoo mail just takes forever to push. Sometimes I can get them quick and sometimes it takes hrs to get them. If I go directly into mail they come threw right then but they don't seem to want to push threw all the time.
Anybody else have this problem?

Yahoo's push implementation is, in a word, crap.

It's insecure, unreliable, and (to top it all off) a pretty bad attempt at re-implementing something that's already been done quite successfully for many, many years.

I worked on trying to get yahoo push to work for months, before I found mail2web.com. once mail2web announced they were discontinuing activesync for free accounts I tried yahoo again, still no luck. This with 4 yahoo accounts, 1 old 3 new, and two devices, it never worked. I finally gave up and got MobileMe

I don't have any real problems with Yahoo. The vast majority (99%) of my emails are instant and arrive on my iPhone before they arrive in my yahoo account. Only a hand full of times did my emails not push instantly that I am aware of...but they eventually came through.
