I like launchpad, the new system profiler, facetime, the resume function after a reboot, the new dashboard, the new spaces, the new Finder, the new Mail.app

What I dislike: Dropped support for Rosetta-based apps. Backwards scrolling (although I am slowly getting used to it).

Edit:  why is the attached image upside down?

Nice upside down pic lol.

I dont like the reverse scrolling either. I'm surprised htey didn't give a option to disable that. It just seems too confusing right now. I'll get use to it later but right now...

I like how they included a free Podcast Publisher that interfaces directly with iTunes.

The upside down pic is a glitch with the upload function of MR.
I was also very surprised that they didn't give an option to disable it...

I think 10.7 might make the screen upside down to match with the backwards scrolling. xD

Did you look for it? It's right at the top of the Trackpad & Mouse pref panes.

Four finger spread instead of swipe up for show desktop. It's difficult to do.

Its probably second nature now for iPhone/iPad/iTouch users but if you want to scroll down, you flick your finger up and vise versa.

OSX Lion also has this principle for scrolling now.

So it's as if your finger was touching a scroll of paper.
Want to see more of the paper on the bottom roll finger goes up, more of the top finger comes down.

So in other words the Mac had it backwards all along?

Does it also reverse the apps that use scroll to zoom in and out?

Just scrolling up and down, and no OSX didn't get it backwards cause all the PCs use the same method.

Its just more of the iPhone/iPad/iTouch style now.

Try moving your thumb and your fingers just a bit. No need to do a huge spread.

I realise that. I'd just like the options. They have mission control available in three finger gestures but Show Desktop is limited only to the spread.

I have a bone disease and a badly shattered hand, up and down swiping is fine but the spread/pinch is difficult for me to do accurately.

I'd like to see them add a few more options to the gestures or I'll just grab TinkerTool.

It's not a big deal, just don't like choices being taken away. On the whole it's a dramatic boost in every facet over 10.5/6.

I don't really like much of anything about it, nothing stands out. Launchpad looks cool but I have yet to use it, its kind of pointless. Mission Control is slower than expose and it doesn't really help much. The only time I notice the suspending apps thing is when it messes up and shows me an old window I don't want, its really not very useful, the one app that I hate opening because of a long splash screen that blocks other windows doesn't even work with the suspend thing. Not having an easy way to show desktop anymore sucks. The grey icons are terrible, makes navigation a lot harder.

The thing I like most is the scrolling, not the reverse scrolling, but the bouncy scrolling and hidden scrollbars. I like the new Mail but the grey icons are a pain, I had to turn on text under buttons because it was so hard to tell where the button you want is.

I am going to revert back, the negatives outweigh the positives.

It is most likely that you took the picture (with your iPhone(?)) upsidedown. The orientation of the image is embedded in the metadata of the image.

Forum software does not read the orientation and auto-correct it like Preview does.

In Preview you have the option to save the image without the orientation.

That is quite possible. I could have done that....
