Lots of people are talking about TRIM not supported on the MacBook Air software based, but it is supported in the hardware. What is TRIM, what does it do? Is there an activator for MBA TRIM?

The Flash Based SSD on the MBA has an excellent Garbage collection and does support software TRIM, once the Liion is here.
Because of its excellent garbage collection, the drive performs great over time - even without TRIM (which it will support, once the Mac OSx starts to support software TRIM)
