For what it's worth, that's lower than Apple refurb pricing (256GB LTE: $959).

The risk with that deal is warranty from what I can tell. 90 day return policy and no commitment as to whether or not it is covered by Apple warranty.

All depends if that’s important to someone or not. For me because I sometimes use my iPad for field inspections I like to have AppleCare+ coverage for accidental coverage so spending more on an Apple refurbished unit would be a consideration for me.
