Personally, I consider the 6s if it were available to you and and in your price range.

But to your question:

Essentially what you’re purchasing with the iPhone 6 Plus is a 5.5 1080 P display and a larger battery capacity, with Optical Image stabilization in the camera.

As for which one you should buy, ask yourself do you like a larger size iPhone over the 4.7 iPhone 6? And would you appreciate a larger display and better battery life with the 6 Plus.

The 6 Plus also has OIS so your photos and videos will come out a little better in specific conditions.

To reiterate what Relentless Power mentioned, if the 6S is within the limits of your price range, that's the iPhone to get.

The 6 Plus does bench a little slower than the 6 because it has to push more pixels.

6s would probably be more worth it than 6 Plus. Especially if you want extra features.

Regardless, they both will stutter because of iOS 11 and the performance with a dated processor and one GB of Ram.
This. Plus the fact that A8 isn’t a great jump compared to A7, however iPhone 6 had more pixels to push, making the phone less than ideal, performance wise.

Yeah, definitely don’t get the 6 plus. My wife still uses hers, but it’s a chore to live with-very laggy.

Go with a 7/7 plus if you are able to. They can be had for very reasonable prices, and will serve you for a couple years longer. The 6 plus in a year or two will be darn near useless.
