I think many guys hope hacking firmware releases.....
Why?
Just free applications?
Could you explain what's change?
Can I do multitasking with my Ipad? If I try hacking...

Yes you can. Except the multi-tasking is different than Apple's. The one in jailbreak allows full backgrounding. So the app will run in the background just like as if it was the foreground (with maybe less CPU). This creates battery life and performance issues as animations still run in the background and fancy downloading stuff (especially if you're using an IM client) which you never even see.

Now there are a lot of other stuff that jailbreaking allows (note, I hate jailbreaking as I think it's useless but mainly because I hate the piracy).

You can change the look of everything from the status bar to the lock screen to the icons of each individual application (even the AppStore applications).

A lot of people use it to tether their device to a computer or something else (this will be more useful once the 3G version comes out).

There are a lot of applications that aren't on the AppStore that are available through the jailbreak store that hook into the operating system such as being able to hide icons, display stuff like calendar on the lock screen, configure shortcuts to activate programs like double clicking the power button, downloading stuff from the internet, etc.

In general, whatever you want your device to do software-wise and operating system-wise, it will do it when you jailbreak.
