Over the last few months there's been some strange events going on regarding the future of Resexcellence. Here is the chain of events as I understand them:
- When the original owner stepped down, the new guy in charge, Bryun Lund, didn't update the site very much and become unpopular. He also wanted to turn it into a 'wiki' style site, which some people were upset about.
- An attempt was made by several long term users to take over the site and get it back to it's original former glory. A message appeared on the homepage saying that the site had been put back into the hands of its users and that they were working to restore content.
- Scott Chitwood (no idea who he is) gained control of the site and a message on the homepage suggested he might bring resexcellence back.
- Scott Chitwood updated the message to say he would bring the site back.
- Site disappears again! We're left with the jack in the box logo.
What on earth is going on? I've been a casual fan of this site for years and years. Googling around doesn't reveal much, only some names of those involved.
