Some carry bookbbags, carry bags, laptop bags, and other additions for their electronic goodies. My daily routine each morning is to gather my goodies and put them in this leather bag I found that has pockets for everything.

Electronically, Apple speaking, Whats in your bag?

My light loadout / pack, primarily for the weekends when I just need my laptop for emergencies (remote admin).

In a coffee shop.
My briefcase usually plays host to: My 11" MBA, (plus peripherals, charger, MagSafe etc, if I am away for more than a day, i.e. if I am overnighting); if I am travelling for the day, and have meetings in the capital, rather than merely visiting an office in a compound, I will also bring my iPod and headphones, plus charger if I am away overnight; pens (fountain pens, Mont Blancs) and their cartridges; note-books (Leuchtturm1917) with good quality paper for writing or taking notes on; tea tree oil and olbas oil; and a bottle of water.

I carried files and project notes to/from the office/home. I used to put in insane hours and about a year ago put the brakes on. I no longer carry a bag and only work from home when absolutely necessary. Yay!

(Unfortunately, I’m on-call this week and an external resource we use to scrub some data changed their file format without telling us. So now that process is failing twice a day requiring my manual intervention to manipulate the file data until we can put in an emergency install...on Wednesday. :( )
