Hey guys I am switching over from pc to mac (after WWDC of course) and I wanted to sign up to a magazine you guys have any suggestions of which I should sign up too? I heard the macworld mag was good anymore information would be awesome

i used to read both MacWorld and MacAddict (now Mac | Life), but in all honestly, i knew everything they were reporting by the time i got 'em, due to Macrumors and being active here.
yeah I was thinking the same im on the computer about 30 hours of week (work/casual) so I am always browsing, but I was just hoping to gain more information on using the OS and cool programs etc etc my buddy owns a mac and always have SWEET apps (ones like slap the monitor to switch your desktop) so with him being so busy he wont be able to show me so im looking for a source to keep udpated on all the cool linux tools and gadgets. Any ideas?

like i said, reading MacRumors has taught me a lot.
about every few months there is a thread on 'cool apps' or some such like the links here for example.
i just find this to be a better resource personally. but i'd go to a newstand if you want the mags and look em all over and see which one you prefer. iCreate always had great tutorials.
I subscribe to Macworld. It seems to have a nice balance of content and great quality.

I get the digital version of MacWorld from Zinio.com. It's nice being able to click a link for a product right in the article and goto the website for it. Unfortunately they still bug you incessently to renew your subscription before you even get your second issue.
I have had both, macworld and maclife (macaddict). I currently am subscribed to maclife, I like it. Macworld is a great magazine but my experience is that it is very late by the time I get macworld it is old news, maclife already covered last month and it was already covered on all the forums 2 months ago.
We buy iCreate at Barnes & Noble. It's been great every month so far!

MacWorld was my main go to source. Once I started getting articles online. The magazine was always too dated. I check their website every once in a while. They still have good articles and how to guides.
I used to get that every once in a while in the US. They had some awesome freeware and shareware apps on floppy then later on CD. One of the best was a benchmark program with a list of Mac models. Every time I got a new mac it was awesome to see how it compared to the likes of a Quadra 840AV. Since it ran 68K code I could also see how fast a Powermac ran that code. Which was about 68020 speeds. Then using Connectix Speed Doubler 68K code ran at high 68040 speeds. The only time I can think of were some accelerator software actually worked.
I wish I could remember the name of that benchmarking program. I think it was Speedtest 4.0.1. I probably have it buried somewhere on an EZ135 cartridge.
