Hey all,
Recently bought myself a used (but newer) MacBook Pro and I'm curious what I can ask for when I sell my old one. Any help would be appreciated.

It's a Mid-2012 (non-retina) 15" MacBook Pro. With:
  • 2.3GHz Intel Core i7
  • 16GB RAM
  • 500GB SSD (TRIM enabled)
  • Intel HD Graphics 4000 1536 MB
  • NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M 512 MB
  • Battery with 537 cycles, 93.5% capacity, status Normal.
Laptop itself is in solid shape. Some minor scuffing and couple pits on outer housing (hell of a lot better than some I see on eBay). Trackpad, keyboard, screen are flawless. Currently has a DecalGirl skin.

Thanks!

It is the quad-core, right?
Exactly that model is quite interesting for people who need big harddrives and older connectors.
It has thunderbold, also FW800, and you can swap the internal dvd player with a second harddrive or ssd.
I have exactly the same, with two 2tb ssd in it :)
And it does work with catalina..
In Germany they are around 800 euros at the moment, depending on what is in it,
cheers, Lucky
