I recently retired an old iMac 9,1, and I was asked by someone in my household if I could get Neverwinter Nights running on it. I remember it worked rather well. So I figured I'd scrounge up a hard drivedrive, see if I could locate where I put the DVDs and go back to Faerun.

Any pitfalls I should know about? I looked on GOG, but they only have the Windows version

Anything for the Mac you find on GOG is going to be for Intel only. You'll have to track down your DVD copy.

The iMac 9,1 has an intel chipset. So does my present machine. I have the old DVDs. What's the latest version of MacOSX with Rosetta?

They killed off support for Rosetta in OS X Lion, so anything before that should be ok.

Snow Leopard runs perfectly on the Imac 9,1 and is the last OSX which supports Rosetta. You can buy SL DVD (if you don't already have it) for $25 on the Apple Store. Alternatively any other OSX prior.
