Edit: I did it and now atop Cydia it says "this iPhone has a pending TSS request". I have no idea what to expect now? I could have just exposed myself....ut oh!


Edit 2: Now it says "This iPhone 3GS has an ECID SHSH on file..."
(on file where)??
 
I've got to say, I'm really impressed with Saurik and the time and effort he puts into helping us get the most out of our iPhones. I don't even begrudge him the intrusive ads in Cydia. This is just another example...

Try syncing with iTunes. I did, and now it says "This iPhone 3G has an ECID SHSH on file." at the top of the Cydia screen. Apparently he stores the files on his server and is working with jailbreaking teams on using his db when you jailbreak (see this link).

The question I have is that the Dev-Team says you won't need your ECID, but the iBEC and iBSS...
