We're looking for a laptop with 32GB RAM and enough CPU cores to comfortably run a couple of Windows VMs alongside a bunch of the typical productivity apps - a few web browsers; office; mail; Todoist; fantastical; office web apps etc.

For this case, we don't really care about GPUs.

The MacBook Air only goes up to 24GB RAM. We have a 15" one here and even with just one Windows VM, memory pressure is almost always yellow. So I think that extra 8GB RAM goes a long way.

I'm thinking either an M2 Pro, BTO with 32GB RAM... or do we just go for a stock M2 Max 32GB RAM?

Am I missing any other options for something of this spec?
