Planning on getting both....what type of SD card is best to get?

I see certain 32GB SD cards from class 6 to class 10. Never had an SD card as been apple all the way before. Any info would be good guys thanks.

if you're just putting videos and pics on the card, then class 6 is more than sufficient. If you plan on putting apps on it as well, then class 10 would be better as it has the faster read/write speed.

Does anyone know whether having a higher class (class 10)results in higher transfer speeds in real life or can the s3 not take advantage of this?

Get the class 10 card, it's faster. Here's the thing, whether the S3 takes full advantage of the speeds or not is only one side of the equation. If you ever pull out the Sd card and put it in a sd card reader on your PC, the faster speed will be used. My buddy does this with music and videos. That way he is still able to use his phone while transferring these large files.

Anything Class 4 or above would be fine. But, I get Class 6 write speeds with all of my Class 4 cards for some reason.

Copied a bunch of files to my new 32GB Class 4 card and the transfer rate remained steady at 5.76-6.15 mb/s.
