What's the best navigation app for the iphone 3Gs and later?

I know that the iphone 4g and OS 4.0 are both being unveiled on the 7th; I'm planning on upgrading to the new phone when available. Unfortunately, I don't have any expectation that Apple will include a comprehensive turn-by-turn navigation app with the new phone hardware and OS.

Assuming Apple doesn't come through with the amazing Google Navigation currently available gratis on Android phones, which navigation app is currently the cream of the iphone crop?

Thanks in advance.

Navigon

I vote for Navigon too. I owned a standalone Navigon unit before and LOVED it. When my parents GPS (also Navigon) was stolen, I chose to give them my unit and buy the Navigon App on the App store. I think the interface is very clean and easy to navigate. It has all the features I could think of wanting. It has voice turn-by-turn, iPod app integration, google search (which I use a lot), etc. It can also be used without a data connection which is a positive and a negative because that means all the maps are installed on the iPhone which makes it over a gig, so it depends what's important to you.

On at 10 point scale, I give the Navigon App a 9+. Take a look at it, and if you like what you see and read, I don't think you'll regret buying it. I believe it is also on sale right now too.
