Since i have the iPhone, i want to use it to control my pc from other rooms, or at least see what it's doing, like when i do long renderings or installations, but i haven't found an app that does that on a simple way and without being an open invitation to all the hackers.
So i'd like to know if someone knows a good and safe remote desktop app that's easy to use and install on windows7.

I finally took the plunge and bought Logmein Ignition.

I have been using the free desktop version on my Mac/PCs for a while, and I am very pleased with it.

It isn't cheap, but it has been very useful.

If you're going to be using it within the same network, you could try Mocha RDP Lite (Free).

Jaadu RDP is fantastic. It's very smooth and well designed, and has some cool features like copy and paste (e.g you can copy text from your remote desktop and paste it somewhere in the iPhone after the app is closed).

Wirelessly posted (iPhone: Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 3_1_2 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/528.18 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Mobile/7D11 Safari/528.16)

Another vote for Jaadu RDP. Very good indeed.

Another vote for LogMeIn Ignition, I like how easy it is to setup and use. I am a techie at heart and by trade but at times it is nice to not have to tinker with opening and forwarding ports etc etc so to me the price is worth the convenience, especially as I can get to my laptop from my iPhone no matter what network it is attached to.
