I have a microfiber cloth to clean the screen ( i just wet one half of it and wipe it down then dry it with the other half dry side... seems to work well. but what about the white keyboard/palm rests etc. Is there a special cleaning formula i can/should use; or can i only use water? should i use the microfiber cloth? It says that the cloth can be washed; so i can wash it out if i use a cleaning solution...

Thanks!

The best way to clean it is to search, and read the 10000 threads we have on here regarding cleaning solutions...:p ...BTW, iKlear seems to be the popular choice around here...

Mr. Clean's magic eraser works wonders, as long as you're talking about regular dirt and not the discoloration issue that some early white macbooks have.

I use a microfiber cloth for my MacBook Pro and it works wonders.

However, I don't know if it will be easier to clean on a MacBook, because the MacBook's plastics (on the earlier models) had rather rough surfaces.

If you do use a microfiber cloth, just remember that dust particles can get caught in it. This isn't a big deal, just clean the screen first as these dust particles will scratch the screen and not your case.

Also, don't bother with cleaning solutions. Water works just as well. (Just remember to use it with your computer off, of course. :p )

Mr. Clean's Magic Eraser is great, I hear. :)
