Is ApZapper worth it?
What about, http://konstochvanligasaker.se/apptrap/
Is that worth the free dowload, does it work?
I'm new. I've spammed the crap out of this board, and I've gotten amazing help. You all should seriously work for Apple.

So, should I go into the HD myself, and go to prefrences, yada yada? I'm new at this, so it's almost like a new language this way.

Advise?

Thanks,

Josh

Search around the program for an uninstall option, check the programs help file for specific instruction, re-run (or re-download and re-run) the installer, there might be an option there to uninstall it. Or you can use a 3rd party app (I havn't) or just drag the .app to the trash and goto your library and drag the pref folders associated with it to the trash also (much less safe, since you may delete something that has to do with another application.)

So, you haven't used a third party program?
I don't like the, try this, if that doesn't work, try this, and if THAT doesn't work, try this. I want something like windows, boom big bam done.
Apzapper seems good, any experienced users?

Thanks buddy,

Josh

If your still using XP don't be so so sure of boom, big bam done. Try going into Programs and seeing if a folder remains and whats in it for the deleted program. Surprise, in a lot of cases.

XP is old news though, bro. This is the new. lol.
I need to find away to delete my future programs I may no longer what!

i like cleanapp.

it has a logging process that you can enable after you install it. the log remembers what files each app plants/messes with when you install it so it can do a better job cleaning up when you want it gone. and it's all done invisibly, with the same ease of use as appzapper et al

Ever heard of the search function? Besides, wrong forum, this isn't hardware related.

AppZapper isn't compatible with 10.5. I liked the app in 10.4 tho.
