From your personal experience, what will most likely damage a Mac? I'd like to hear stories of what your pet, toddler or girlfriend did to your Mac. And also if you initially had fears about their good behaviour, which turned out to be unjustified. Do your pets and devices go down well with each other?

I picked "Owners" because they have the most contact with their Mac thus more likely to damage it or create situations for damage. Of course I don't have multiple psycho ex girlfriends or pets that randomly pee in corners so it could be different for different people 🤣

Everything is dependent on the owner. If they're careless out in public this gives thieves opportunity. If they are careless with beverages then maybe liquid spills. Leave their Mac unattended around small kids... You get the idea.

Internal Batteries. That's the only way I ever had a mac destroyed. No kids around me. :)

I asked for personal experience, not assumptions on how stupid other people are. Should I be worried about myself, only because I once dropped an iPad screen-first on a dumbbell? I was really tired and forgot that damn thing lay next to my bed. 😫

I'm surprised so far nobody lost a Mac to an animal. No cats or dogs chewing on a power cable? Also no damage by siblings!

I’ll say users hands down. It’s the safest bet since every Mac has at least one, and user error is the biggest factor.

I know personally that I’m capable of ruining a perfectly good machine.
