Ok, what's the deal with the Apple TV constantly forgetting people's networks? There are a ton of threads about it:

...and not a single solution. Yes, each thread contains dozens of ideas that work for one person, but they don't work for others, and people then come back and say the "solution" only worked for a month and then the problem returned.

Does ANYONE know anything about this? How is it that Apple came out with an update that still does nothing? I have to re-enter my password every day. It's enough trouble that I've stopped using my Apple TV.

(And before you say "interference," know that it used to work fine with my old router but the problem started when I bought an Airport Extreme. I didn't realize that I was spending $180 to get a WORSE product than my old $100 router.)

I have 3 ATVs which all run off of AE and TimeMachine wireless networks.
Never had a network ID problem. Works like a charm for over a year of constant use with 3 different Apple IDs as well.
Why do some users have problems and others don't?
If you ever figure it out please post the answer.
