Quick question, experience may help as anyone can take a stab in the dark. Is there really that much of a difference between the 2.16GHz of the High-end MacBook and the 2.2GHz of the Low-end MacBook Pro?

I understand that the MBP uses Santa Rosa but what if the MacBook is updated to Pyren (or however you spell it).

Well the performance may be similiar, but the MBP has several features not available on the MB.

Higher resolution display
Better graphics card
Twice as much memory (standard and what its expandable to)
Firewire 800 port
ExpressCard slot

Those features mean a lot to some people, it just depends on your needs.

Yep, all that and the sexy aluminum skin.
