What's the latest time in a day that Apple.Com will count as a shipping day?

Basically what I'm trying to ask (a bit difficult to word...) is if I purchase the iPad today on Apple's website, what's the cutoff time so that TODAY counts as the first shipping day, and not tomorrow?

5 PM eastern??? IDK...

It would be nice if I got my order processed and approved before Monday, and today counts as my first day towards the shipping time, that's why I'm asking.
