Nope.are the contact shortcuts still there?
Anyone have a pic?
Is it just for looks or does it work differently? Also, are the contact shortcuts still there?
Hm, I just tried that and it didn't do anything. Is it supposed to open the usual app switcher? One thing I'm excited for is the addition of command tab with Bluetooth keyboards.
because it isn't necessary.Still no "close all apps" button.
because it isn't necessary.
in what way? there's no reason to "close" those apps because they're just screenshots of apps that are suspended in the background anyway. having a button to clear them all would only encourage bad user habits that would be detrimental to the iOS user experience. It's annoying to get used to because it jumps around in basically the opposite direction lol. I can see what they're doing with it though.
Would be helpful though.
Still no "close all apps" button.
This is the first I'm hearing about this. You're not supposed to do that. Seriously, it's been 5 years since iOS 4 (that brought multitasking) and people still don't know you shouldn't close the damn apps because that way you'll waste more battery.
What he meant was alt-tab to switch apps like on Mac or even Windows.Hm, I just tried that and it didn't do anything. Is it supposed to open the usual app switcher?
Hmm, at my end Option-Tab just inserts a tab character (as does Shift-Tab). Command-Tab does nothing. What he meant was alt-tab to switch apps like on Mac or even Windows.
I, for one, don't need it. Since the apps there don't actually run in the background on iOS, I just leave them alone. I've definitely surprised a few people with the amount of "open" apps in my app switcherStill no "close all apps" button.
ReallyThis is the first I'm hearing about this.
Yes, really. Why is that so hard to understand?Really
Because it's be well documented for a long time. Not picking holes just genuinely surprised this is still unknownYes, really. Why is that so hard to understand?
