I'll be honest, I've very tempted to purchase an iPad as a replacement for my iPod Touch/Netbook to be purchased at a later time as a I go to college next year. However, I really really really want the Camera Connection kit to be able to be used for transferring Music, iWork files, etc to/from the iPad. What do you think the possibility of this happening is?

Thanks.

BTW: Can you do polls on this forum?

You can create polls, yes.

I'm going to guess that the possibility is zero for that purpose. Apple gets up to $200 more for every device by not letting us use other storage mediums.

It seems likely you can plug it into your computer and then load files by using Apple's 30pin connector.

Hmm. OK, thanks. I just hope it has a fast transfer rate from my MBP to the iPad then.

You will be able to transfer music, iwork files, and other media through the dock connector. You may even be able to use bluetooth for this, but this is yet to be seen.
