My pad all of a sudden won't connect and says I need to call for my puk. What's that and who do I call?

Of course it happens when I desperately need to connect.......

i think it is called the Personal Unblocking Key, and it unlocks your PIN.

try calling up AT&T for customer service.

Normally you phone your carrier. That sometimes happens when you enter your pin incorrectly too many times. But why would that happen on an iPad?

Ring apple. They'll probably tell you to restore the iPad.

Sent from my iPad.

That's one vote to call AT&T and one vote to call Apple. Who wants to break the tie? :)

PUK code relates to the sim pin. You've somehow locked yourself out. Whoever your carrier/network is call them with the sim phone no and they can get it for you. If its easier just purchase a new sim card and problem solved. Restoring the ipad will not work. Its the same with a mobile phone PUK follows the sim not the device.

Hope this helps
