Hey everyone,

So I'm sure all of you guys know the message at the bottom of the Photos app that shows up sometimes that says something like "Stopped syncing. Saving battery". But recently, there seems to be a new one and it shows up pretty much every time I open the app... It says something like "Stopped syncing. Optimizing system performance".

I translated from German so the original English wording might be a bit different but did anyone else also come across this? Not even Apple's support article mentions this message (https://support.apple.com/de-de/101559).

Thanks in advance!

Yes, seen this. Wonder what it means?

You can override it, and sync anyway, but would be nice to know what's going on under the hood.
Thanks for your reply! I'm wondering this as well.

I got the same message on my iPhone, right after I restored a full back up from iCloud. I think it happens when changing your phone and having all the data restored, maybe it takes a little while for the system to put everything back in place in order for the ui and ux to be more efficient.
