is anyone getting annoyed of cydia right now? it seems like its showing "size mismatch" to frozen "downloading packages" is cydia acting up for anyone else?

yeah me to, i was trying to get the rock app cause i am tired of using cydia. but size mismatch shows up and gets stuck on downloading packages

Bump with pics:

I am getting this error. Strangely it is with the Modmyi repo.

Sometimes in Cydia, a big "0..." will appear in the top left, and everything will freeze up. I have to quit and reopen Cydia when this happens.

perfect for me too, are you guys adding some bad repo's or perhaps they are down at the moment. if it's really bugs you then you might have to remove the repo causing the problem. nothing wrong with Cydia though!

I'm still receiving the "Refreshing Data" error. Haven't encountered the 0... again yet.

I'm resurrecting this thread because I just started to see the same problem. Is this one of those things that eventually goes away on its own? Why are there so many threads and never any answers? (dhlizard's suggestion didn't do anything for me).

yep. I came back and tried to use cydia again and today and the size mismatch error disappeared on its own. nice.

It happens from time to time. A repositories update might screw something up. It usually goes away on its own when the repository fixes the issue.

Solution Found

I had this problem for the last couple of days and since I found the solution I thought of sharing it here

The following solution is from: http://ihackmyi.com/forum/index.php?topic=2457.0

-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Once connected go to the main directory and then navigate to /etc/apt/sources.list.d/. Search for Cydia.list and open it with a text editing program. You will find a list like this:

Quote

deb http://vnmagic.net/cydia/ ./
deb http://homepage3.nifty.com/moyashi/cydia/ ./
deb http://www.nightgamer.net/cydia/ ./
deb http:d.mobilecinema.com/ ./

Reopen Cydia and refresh your sources. Read the error and look for the source(s) causing the problem. Then delete it from the Cydia list and save. E.g. If "http:d.mobilecinema.com/" was the problem like it is in the first picture above you would delete deb "http:d.mobilecinema.com/ ./" from the list.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

p.s: I used iFile to find & edit the file mentioned above

Finally, this suggestion fixed my xsellize issue. I added xsellize to get MobileTerminal for iPhone 4, but when I deleted the repo it keeps trying to poll it when I refresh sources and gives me an error!

Thanks mgsolidsnak3

Comex has plans to update Cydia from what he has said. Also from what he mentioned I think it will be the best of cydia best of rock plus maybe a few extras. I think Saurik will have a few dev-team members helping.

I think my cydia is seriously screwed up...

Like Im looking for Lockinfo and I cant find it under bigboss repo or modmyi while its supposed to be on the modmyi repo for sure..

Anyone know whats going on? I have both repos in my list..

@esadb
I will help you if you tell us where that jailbreak is that you promised all of us for the last two days :)
