Pretty sure it will be released as part of 4.1, which is currently in beta.

Back to the Future.

It's coming eventually. I think there is an market for it. For it to be successful Apple will have to make new APIs and get develops to make great games. They are also probably trying to figure out finances, if they'll charge, make some sort of unified Apple gaming currency, etc.

ermm nahh, he said to be released in November time (completion of Data Centre, around the time when iPad gets 4.0)

Good news is that developers have access to it and all the APIs for it now, so when it does launch there should be a bunch of games already compatible.
