I've been a long Crucial memory customer, and I was going to buy Crucial memory for my 2015 iMac when it comes available. The wait has been almost 6 month now, and Crucial only carries 8GB kit for some reason (either from their website or B&H). Others are available but with all those minute differences like speed, CL number and voltage, I just don't feel comfortable with others.

Does anyone know why it's so difficult for Crucial to come up with compatible memory for this particular iMacs? If I have to get a different brand, how reliable is OWC memory? They seem pretty pricy but at least those numbers like speed, CL, and voltage is matching with the original Apple's.

Take a look at this. I installed it a few weeks ago and they work fine.
