Based in the UK. There was an outage over a week ago and Insta hasn't been the same since. Current issue is when viewing your timeline, images take an age to appear. They are blurred out with the circular timer in the middle. It's not my broadband, I don't have mobile data enabled. It's doing my nut in as I can't seem to find any info relating to it. Others have confirmed similar issues. Any ideas?

I've uninstalled and reinstalled. Latest officially released iOS on an 8+.

From your explanation, it clearly is not an issue related to the device itself. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

It’s related to how the app pulls data from the APIs and stacks in the core data model. So yeah I guess you should complain to Instagram.

Will do.

Was hoping someone would admit to experiencing this but I'll chase Insta for a fix.

This happens to me sometimes too. I always thought there's something wrong with my device or connection.

If it's my wifi connection, it's not making much sense to me why it would only suffer on Insta. All other apps fly.

Annoying as hell. I've sent the problem to Instagram.
