After Monterey update I'm heaving troubles with OneDrive in my Mac.

Just for information, I have Dropbox installed for work files. I keep iCloud Storage for iPhone photos and documents (iCloud servers aren't snappy down here) and I have been using OneDrive for my photography files.

As usual, I have an external HDD that I use for keeping the OneDrive folder downloaded. When I installed Monterey I got an advise from OneDrive that from now all the files will start as "online-only". Ok. I will download the files as I used to do so, selecting "Make it availabe offline". But it turns that the installation have created an Alias in my external HDD pointing to a location in my Internal SSD.

Nothing I can do changes the location of the OneDriver Folder. It will always be in my internal SSD, even if I chose an external HDD. It just create an Alias in it and uses the SSD space! lol

What can I do? Should I start looking for an option? Is there a solution to make OneDrive store its files on external volumes?

Not sure what is up with OneDrive. I store (and backup) my ~27000+ photos locally and use cloud storage only for shared contacts, notes, documents & photos that I’m actively workiing on and web browser bookmarks.
