Why should it cost you money?

The 27" iMac was released in 10/2009, thus there are still almost two months of original warranty left. Bring it to Apple or an Apple Authorised Repair Shop and get it fixed.

Really? For some reason I had only 60 days on my brain. Sweet. Off to the apple store! Thanks.

Without Apple Care you get 90 days of telephone support and a 365/6 days of warranty in case of any hardware malfunction not inflicted by anyone else than Apple or affiliates of Apple (shipping for example).

If you choose to have a longer warranty, you can get Apple Care to have telephone support and hardware warranty for three years after the purchase date.
