The iPhone 6s has been mostly a dream of a device, due mainly to its practically instantaneous performance that rivals my 15" Retina MacBook Pro in real-world usage. In fact, I only use my Retina MacBook Pro when I need to multitask more efficiently or fill in a gap, such as in web development or Photoshop. We are talking ~ 7-8 hours of usage on the iPhone daily compared to 7-8 hours weekly at the very most lately on the rMBP. For me it's even superior to an iPad because many times throughout the day I'll need to use it one-handed, and I feel the iPad is only worthwhile if a user is going to be sitting for periods at a time.

I'd venture to say the Apple Watch is my runner-up. Even though the third-party apps are mostly useless at this point, the watch's hardware and interface sport a luxurious feel; there's a lot of potential here as it feels distinctly futuristic. Based on the current state of Apple, the Watch, iPhone, and iPad are surprisingly easily the future of the company in my opinion.

Right now, its my new 5k iMac. An expansive, gorgeous screen, fast performance, lots and lots of storage (2TB). I'm very happy with this.

Second for the MacBook pro. Amazing power and functionality in a tiny package.

I can't stand the iToys.

What's amazing is that besides the storage (unless we are counting cloud storage), the same traits can be attributed to the iPhone and iPad. While reading through this thread, I realized that really none of the options listed are better than the others: they're all computers capable of a lot.

Of course not, each one addresses a different need. an iPhone, iPad, and iMac and MBP are all very good products but they each excel at something very different then the other listed products.

For me, the iMac is great because I work in front of it, 10+ hours a day and the large screen makes life a lot better :)

1. iPhone 6 - There's no other device that I use as much, nor is there any other device which does so much for me. It's an amazing companion for work-related tasks, keeping up with my activities, socializing - on the phone, messages as well as through social media, listening to my favorite songs, oh and it's the absolute best camera as I always have it with me. It also allows me to share my vacation photos with my friends and family. Oh I can go on and on... iPhone 6 is easily my favorite Apple device. Can't wait for iPhone 7.

2. iMac 27" Late 2013 - A great big screen for unbeatable productivity. Amazing performance as well (non-retina Macs just feel more "snappy" to my eyes, still) and it's almost dead silent. What's not to like? Well mine lacks an SSD, and the Retina display would sure look even nicer but this is still my second favorite Apple device.

My rMBP 13" Late 2013 has great battery life, an amazing display and perfect build quality. It also has all the performance I need. While I like it a lot, it's not really as fluid as my non-retina iMac. It's not often, but it can sometimes be a little jerky. It's just that the OS X experience is not as fluid on my rMBP as it is on my iMac.

My iPad Air is a nice toy and I like it a lot, but it doesn't do anything that the iPhone doesn't. Still, I missed being without one when I got rid of my old one this summer. My Apple TV, I hardly use it.

It will always be my iPhone. It's my primary computing device. I always have it with me. I can take it out of my bag and get 98% of the things done. I think it's my most personal device out of all my devices. The iPhone (3G) was my first real smartphone, I don't count the blackberry that I had before as a real smartphone and it opened me up to the concept of having a computer in the palm of my hands.

I think after my iPhone it would be my iPad. I prefer it to my MacBook because it's more convenient to use and can handle most of my computing needs. 4 years ago I would of had to pull out my laptop if I wanted to compose a long email, watch a video, do online shopping or do some research on the Internet. Now all I have to do is unlock my iPad with my fingerprint and it's good to go. I also like the fact that it's so portable. Although I have the MacBook Air which is highly portable it's more convenient to just stick my air 2 into my bag. I take it places that I wouldn't want to take my Mac, e.g vacation. I use it everyday.

Next would be my MacBook Air. Although I'm almost ready for the post PC world I'm not quite there yet and like to keep a computer. Although I don't use it much, I like the fact that it's light and boots up/wakes from sleep very fast. Before I got my MBA I had a 15 inch Windows laptop. It was heavy and took so long to boot up/ wake from sleep that I rarely used it. I'd use it about once a month or once every two months. I use my MBA a lot more because it's more convenient and faster to use.

The Apple TV comes next. I do a lot of my video watching on my iPad Air 2 so my Apple TV is not as important to me as it once was. However I've had one since 2009 and I've just upgraded to thr 4th generation. I have been using it more as I'm enjoying playing the games and using Siri integration.

My Apple Watch comes next. I love my Apple Watch. I've had it since launch and I wear it everyday. The reason why I've put it so low on my list is because it is an Accessory to the iPhone but I do find it very useful.

In last place is my iPad mini. It's my secondary iPad. I use it for my commute but very rarely in the house. I still value it though because I need a smaller device to use whilst travelling to work and I wouldn't want to lug my air 2 around with me everyday.

My Air is my new love. After a Chromebook with Linux where I would spend 70% of the time fixing things that stopped working for no reason the Air is just so brilliant. I had to do something in Photoshop and I thought "time to fire up the iMac..." then realised I can put Photoshop on the Air. Same with Send To Kindle. Same with iPhoto. And the SSD is magically fast.

Yes, I'd like a better screen, but it's not a dealbreaker. And I just love the form, plus I'm one of those old people who use "peripherals" they attach to "USB slots" and I have a "SD card" too. It's almost perfect. If the screen was better it would be a 100% perfect device for me.

The SSD is amazing. Before getting the air I had the Samsung chrome book 3, which is modelled very closely on the air. I loved everything about it from its light weight design and keyboard and the SSD. The only thing I disliked was that it was limited due to the chrome OS. So the logical choice for me was to get the MBA as it's like the gourmet version of the Samsung series 3 chrome book.

1 : 2010 Macbook Pro 15" . Nice matte screen , lots of ports , Mag Safe , optical ,backlit keyboard . Maxed out ram and a 512 SSD . Around 900 cycles and still getting 5 1/2 - 6 hour of battery life .

2 : 2011 Macbook Air 13" . i7 , 4gig,256 SSD . Just a real nice travel machine.

Sure hope they don't die , don't know what I'd replace them with . Given the way Apple's going , locking their hardware down , might not be a Mac .

I don't use my iPhone, Apple Watch, or Apple TV right now since I'm using my Nexus 6 as a daily driver, but I still use my iPad Air 2 and 2015 rMBP. My favorite of those 2 is my MBP. I use it heavily during the school year and I also have Windows 10 installed for some games and it does everything I need it to very well. The Air 2 is also a close second, even though I only use the device to browse the web and watch YouTube videos while I eat :D

Either my iMac G4 or my iPod Classic. I'ma give it to my G4 since I've had it 13 years now.

My 2007 160GB iPod classic.

It still does everything I want from a dedicated music player and Apple haven't released anything since that does it better.

I really like my iPhone, iPad and Macs but I know they will need to be replaced by newer and faster versions in the future. My iPod will stay around until it dies.
