Native app for 1.14 would be ideal but I'm not sure there is a working aim/yahoo program. What do you use natively/web based, and how is the battery drain? Does it run background, notify of im with sound or vibrate, the more info the better. =)

Thanks
Michael

i use apollo with IM chat 1.1.3 fix on 1.1.4. i really like it. it notifies me if i get an im. no sound or vibration tho. if you search around im sure you'll be able to find some more reviews/opionions.

does it work w/ EDGE?

I refuse to jailbreak my phone, because the risks are too great for, as far as I'm concerned, no real gains (I'm not interested in most of the currently available native apps). Therefore, on the rare occasion I'm without my MacBook Pro, I use Meebo, which is the only web based messenger I've had word reliably. It also allows you to sign into all the networks, which is a plus.
