I have just started to look at the Shortcuts app, and it’s quite daunting.

Been watching YouTube tutorials, which are helpful.

If you use Shortcuts, what are your favourites?

I just set up one to play the Sky News podcast.

My favourite are my ring fences.
I have it set up to mute my phone and watch when I enter the day job and unmute when I leave.
I also have a few set for my lights at home

Got one for when i let my young daughter watch Youtube Kids in the car....it turns off bluetooth so my phone doesnt connect to the car stereo, set the volume at the right level then opens the app. Also got one that i used to use more when i had a longer commute to work but it used to first ask if i was going home, to work or to a calendar entry (if it was then it would then check my calendar and show a list of locations for anything in there) then would open Waze then after a few second open Apple Maps and show the route options for my chosen location. Just used to run it when i got in the car and then it would be connected to CarPlay to show on the car screen. Apple Maps would show with Navigation with Waze in the background for any alerts to come through for speed cameras, police, incidents etc.

I have them as buttons in a 4 button widget on my home screen to run them to start with along with a couple of others. One controls the smart bulb in my porch and the other is a sort of quick access phone book thing.

I am setting daily wallpaper with a cool AI Art app.

Always feel good with a fresh wallpaper on my phone 😁
