I currently own a 9.7 and I love it. I’ve been doing some research in regards to cases with an attached keyboard on it.

I found one on ebay for $40. It’s the ZAGG Slim Book Keyboard case. It looks really nice. A single charge can last up to 2 years with the keyboard (will be less if using the backlit feature). I like it but it doesn’t take advantage of the smart connector. The “feel” of it also doesn’t offer the best grip.

I then found the Logitech Create but it’s more of a folio case when I’m trying to find one that opens/closes and allows “Book Mode” AND allows flexibility of detaching the keyboard from the case like the ZAGG case does. This product does have a better feel to it and seems to be more reliable. I heard it has a water resistant type of material.

I checked out the Apple Smart Keyboard but I feel it doesn’t offer as much as the other two I mentioned. Pricier than the other two I mentioned.

Anyone know of any other good ones out there that I may not have found yet? I’m curious to see what y’all like.

[doublepost=1498944757][/doublepost]Belkin Qode Ultimate Pro for my iPP 9.7
Not officially listed as suitable, but it does fit. it's the air 2 keyboard case so doesn't take account of the iPP's quad speakers, but that doesn't bother me.
Love how easy it is to remove the iPad & back case from the keyboard, for reading/ surfing etc.
Good thing about this keyboard case also works portrait as well as landscape.

Frustrated it isn't looking likely they will develop a 10.5 version.
Don't like Apple's "hunchback" version which is tied to landscape and leaves the back unprotected.

Reviewers state the case actually brings the audio forward so if you have your hand over those speakers, the audio will still come out.

I had that same concern until I researched it.

For my 10.5, I bought the Logitech, having used their keyboards on several earlier iPads.

Unfortunately, the "Slim Combo" is really bulky and poor build quality. I retuned it after two days.

I'm currently using the Apple Smart Keyboard. Really nice, but sad Apple were too lazy to include the iOS function keys.
