Hello,

I'm using the WhatsApp official app to get my messages on my iMac while I'm at home, using it for a while now.

Since a few months ago, the app keeps preventing the system from shutdown, like 7 in 10 times, when I want to turn off my iMac. The system closes every other app but stops on WhatsApp. The only way to fix it is to manually go to the  menu and force quit the app, an then the shutting down process continues.

I can't remember when this started, but at the beginning I had no issues. I even tried to allow the beta versions of the app to see if it got fixed but with no success.

I have a Late 2015 iMac 27" 5K with Sierra up to date.

Is someone experiencing the same problem? Any help? Can't find anything related on the web...

Thank you.
