I'm using the WhatsApp official app to get my messages on my iMac while I'm at home, using it for a while now.
Since a few months ago, the app keeps preventing the system from shutdown, like 7 in 10 times, when I want to turn off my iMac. The system closes every other app but stops on WhatsApp. The only way to fix it is to manually go to the menu and force quit the app, an then the shutting down process continues.
I can't remember when this started, but at the beginning I had no issues. I even tried to allow the beta versions of the app to see if it got fixed but with no success.
I have a Late 2015 iMac 27" 5K with Sierra up to date.
Is someone experiencing the same problem? Any help? Can't find anything related on the web...
