Hi,

I have Iphone 6 Plus. I used whatsapp option export chat with media attached and as it suggests share option immediately after it creates the export zip file, i used the share option and GMAIL account to send the zip to my gmail account. Unfortunately the file size is 56MB, as a result, it was not sent by GMAIL because of max size limitation of 25MB. Now this email is in my Drafts folder on the phone. When I open the draft email i can see the zip file attached.

I know it can not be emailed, therefore, I want to retrieve it to the desktop to extract my contents. I am not able to do that. Is there anyone who can help me retrieve the zip file and extract my important data.

Anybody's help would be greately appreciated.

[doublepost=1521657645][/doublepost]Other option is to export it to NOTES and then sending email. It doesn’t get mailed as zip folder.

The solution to your problem is to export your chats to a cloud service, such as Dropbox, Google Drive, MS OneDrive, etc. This can handle at least 200MB of data. For even larger sizes, do it via the Files app. I have explained the process here.

And in addition, you could always choose to send with WeTransfer. This service lets you send up to 2 GB of data for free. You can use the WeTransfer app that is available in the App store, or just use their website.
