Whatsapp hangs and slowed down my i4S

HI All ,

just few days back i got a message that i have to update whatsapp on my I4s or else it wont work
so i have updated my whatsapp to version 2.11.15.348
i am using IOS 7.1.1

the moment i have updated my whatsapp the entire app became slow.sometimes it even become unresponsive and it gets hanged time to time .
i have a feeling it might have slowed down my phone too

i am totally clueless in this

some help will be highly appreciated

Not alot you can do. Erase it and see if that is the problem. If it is you have a choice between a faster phone or social media.:rolleyes:

The update is optimized for devices running iOS 8.1.3.
