Whatsapp notification sound messed up with Public Beta 3 with latest Whatsapp update ?

Good evening.

This morning I had an update with Whatsapp. Updated to version 2.16.8

I am also currently running PB 3

Anyway , I've noticed since this morning , whenever I receive a Whatsapp message it doesn't matter what message tone I have selected , it's just the default sound that notifies me. I thought I was going mad , but even after changing to about 6-7 diff sounds & saving that sound , it doesn't work. It's just the stock phone notification sound.

It's no biggy , & as Whatsapp not been updated to iOS 10 yet , guess I can't moan. Apart from this Whatsapp works fine for me.

Anyone else noticed this ?

It seems to be an iOS bug, restarting the device fixed it for me, doesn't just affect WhatsApp, I also had it occur in Telegram.

Many thanks for that. I didn't think to restart my device. Will do that now & see how long it lasts for.
