Whatsapp on iPad and attaching photos ?

Hey Guys,

I was using one APP on my iPad called the "APP for Whatsapp" now called "Chatmate for Whatsapp" it is basically a Whatsapp APP (paid) for the iPad, it was working fine on my iPad till recently, where now I cannot attach any files, photos to the message. When contacted the developer he was very Curt in saying there is nothing I can do since we have now only made our APP compatible to iOS 10 and unwillingly I have to be on iOS 9.3 since I am using an iPad -3. Can anyone please check this and confirm if you go to web.whatsapp.com and log in to Whatsapp using your iPad can you attach pictures to your message from your iPad just wanted to have a check if it is a global problem or is it just happening with me !

As in push notifications do you get texts come through or do you need to go into the app to see them?

Need to get in to the APP to check the messages !

Can you log in and please check web.whatsapp.com for me on your iPad and tell me if you can attach an image to your message ?
