WhatsApp to regular cellphone?

I am considering getting WhatsApp.

I've tried Ping and other data sms. But I didn't like it.


I heard high rating with WhatsApp. Does it work if I send message to a person with regular cellphone (non-smartphone)?

If so, how they will see my message?

no. It only works with other phones with whatsapp installed. Think of it as msn, except it uses your phone number as ID
