So I wanted to move whatsapp from my android to my new 14 pro max. (I used whatsapp on an android; and had a 12 pro max iCloud backup to restore). On the Apps & Data screen in the setup, (which has options like: “Restore from iCloud backup”, “Restore from Mac or PC”, “Move data from Android”), I chose the move data from android and followed steps on my android on the Move to iOS app. Now whatsapp chats are moved to my iPhone, but it did not give me the option after that again to restore from iCloud. So my 12 pro max image and data is not transferred to the 14 pro max.Now if I want to restore the backup , I’ll have to erase and restore from the start, and I’ll lose whatsapp. Is there a way to restore my iCloud backup and have WhatsApp restored as well?
