I have always used FaceTime with my kids because they had iPhones but now they have androids so I was wondering if WhatsApp is a good alternative to use for video chats?

In my case, became very confusing when an incoming video call from family member kept opening WhatsApp instead of FaceTime - actually, seemed that the phone was trying to open both.
