Wheel at top left keeps spinning won't stop

ok I just got this iPhone 6s Plus and at the top left next to the LTE there's a wheel spinning and spinning and won't stop how do I get that to go away see pic

Usually restarting the phone will do the trick, although sometimes just closing various (or all) open apps might do it.

You stated you just got the phone. Are you restoring a large iCloud backup or something? Could be massive amounts of data syncing in the background while the phone finishes setting up.
