Another option for wheels for the NcMP:


quarter the price of Apple's wheels when ordered alone. half the price if ordered with the machine, but then no feet.

Uhm... I don't need/want wheels, Apple's are a bit over-priced <cough> <cough> but the above just looks aesthetically horrible. I mean if you're spending your own money -- as opposed to a studios money, which falls under the "who cares" category -- what's the actual upside to this solution vs. just putting it on a dolly cart that costs $25.

Maybe it's just me, but it looks terrible/silly.

Actually I think it's quite ingenious. The feet remain in place and the two mounting halves screw on around them. I'm not in the market, but if I was I would probably consider these. But, I am no fan of OWC.

These wheels look fast and easy to attach/detach. They don't need to stay on permanently. In a pinch project where the 7,1 needs to be shared across rooms often, I'd prefer this over Apple's design and cost.
