As I await mine I’m wondering how you use yours? Always where them out? Do you use both always or sometimes one just for calls? Does wherein one help with longer battery life ?

I used to wear them as singles but I think wearing them together for uniform battery usage is better.

With my gen 1 I used the right one more than left a lot and later in it’s life line (2 years later) the right would cut out earlier than left.

But in certain situations and from time to time 1 at a times is fine. Obviously you can use one for 4-5 hours then switch to other one immediately to get another 4-5 hours. I think having one in works the battery harder so doesnt last as long - just something I noticed - not proven.

I recently got a new job where I go into the office so I usually carry them every day and use them any time I listen to music or a podcast or if I make personal calls. Don't really use them for conference calls but that was because on calls my original 1's didn't last to much longer than an hour but I will try the 2's out and see how they work.

Currently I wear both but that could change if my usage changes and I need them to be extended longer.

Around the house. Especially when cleaning or doing any type of side chores. They typically don’t leave the house for my usage, but I find the Bluetooth range is excellent no matter where my iPhone is at any level my house. Perfect product.

Every day. Music, talk radio, podcasts, conference calls. In the car, at the store, at home, in the office, on planes… I have honestly used mine almost every day since January 2017.

Gym, out and about for conference calls etc... I would use them in the car but I have apple car play so.....

I use mine whilst travelling - music - watching film or vlogs; whilst cycling to the gym - music and phone calls and when walking into the city listening to music or chatting to friends and family on the phone. I love them too for late night film watching with my Apple TV 4K so that I don't wake up the house or neighbours :)
They are perfect :) Perfect with the Apple TV 4K too.
Everywhere were I travel in the world, young people in the big cities are wearing them. All of the students wear them at my health club (with their Apple Watch's) :)

I take them with me everywhere. The small portable case is an advantage over competitors. Pants coin pockets are ideal for carrying them around.

Use them every day at work, gym, the shops & at home when doing chores - anything from vacuuming to mowing the lawn.

They’re my daily drivers. Sneaking out during a conference call, out and about, running errands. If I’m in formal attire for work but want to listen to listen to stuff I use my black Louis Vuitton earphones. Gym will be the Powerbeats Pro.

I use mine everyday. I especially love using them with my Watch to listen to Audible books on my outdoor walks. I even wear them in the pool when I water jog!

I wish I could get in the habit of using mine. I had hoped I would use them when I exercised - I stored a music playlist on my watch so I could just leave my phone and go. Well, I haven’t really done all that exercising I planned on. ;-p

I just haven’t been able to get used to them being in my ears. I think I’ve worn them a total of 2-3 hours in 2 months.

Now that I have the PowerBeats Pro - I will still use my AirPods for anything other than when I am exercising. Too convenient to just put them in my pocket and use them whenever I need them. The PBPro case is just too large to put in my pocket.

I use my Airpods at work most of the day. I also use them while walking or going for a run regularly. They've been working pretty well and I'm pretty happy with them. They stay in my ears really well too.

Battery life is the only thing taken a bit of a hit recently, not horribly though. PowerBeats Pro do look pretty nice, but I'm not ready to upgrade just yet.

I use them to talk on the phone or listen to music on my lunch break at work. I only use one AirPod if I’m walking around waiting to receive a call. If it’s a conversation that is going to be more than 5 minutes I always wear both. I’ve noticed receiving headaches when only wearing one AirPod. That issue might just be me... everyone is different.

Also, they’re great for... ::clears throat:: ..... watching naughty videos when others are home. ;)

At work - I use mine for the whole 8 hour work day, just the left AirPod though (Listening to Howard Stern in the morning - AirPods then charge while I'm away for my lunch hour - then back in my left ear for the PM for music or Podcasts). I like to keep my right ear open to listen to my surroundings. If I'm at home or elsewhere I will wear both.

1st gen - Gym (1hr battery life just enough to get me through my routine).
2nd Gen - Daily driver, usually without any music/sound just waiting for phone calls or when I watch a video during my downtime. Hey siri helps a ton when I need to reach someone on a moment’s notice without reaching for my phone.

I am using my AirPods 1 when I am not at the gym. I am using PowerBeat Pro when I am working out. Some exercise equipments or types will cause AirPods easily falling out of my ear.

"When and how do you use your AirPods?"

When. When I listen to stuff on a bluetooth enabled device.
How. I put them in my ears.

And "where"is spelt "wear", and "wherein", an adverb, is spelt "wearing," a verb.

Technology eh. Making us sew, much smarter.

I walk every day for a couple hours. I use them then. Sometimes when the wife goes to bed I watch streaming movies on my Apple TV and I pop them in and use them for that and it's more than adequate. I have to use silicone tips to make the audio better though.
